The cinch, made of durable Cordura webbing, has been paired with an Eagle Industries pouch that holds the assembled unit and protects the magazine from dust, sand and other elements common in rugged field conditions. The pouch is made from 1000 denier nylon. Its flat closure is secured by VELCRO and Fastex buckle designed to lessen the infrared signature.
